Thank you to Rose and Clive for a wonderful service. We went with a grey vinyl throughout the house. The three different vinyl layers that worked on our house went above and beyond to help us out. We have a special needs son but everybody that worked on the vinyl made sure that he was happy with what was going on and knew what was going on step by step. They made sure that the noise level wasn't too much for him. I'm very grateful to them for that. Everyone that comes to the house and sees it admires it and us who has done it. Great service from Rose and Clive the moment I went into the showroom. Supplied all the samples I needed and fully understood what I wanted. The flooring quality and workmanship is exceptional, the old flooring taken away and everything tidied. We LOVE our new floors and a great price too. Over many years of working in companies and many private builds and renovations (yes, we are “getting on” in age), we have found the true measure of a company is not how it performs when things go well but how they perform when things don’t. This review is about when it didn’t go to plan and why we will continue to be customers of Rose & Clive for our other properties because of their expertise and great result when the unexpected happened. It started with a visit to their showroom, where over an hour, we’re given an expert education on carpet, vinyl and vinyl planks by Rose, it’s certainly not just pick a colour and that’s it as it has been with other flooring companies. After narrowing our choices down, we took samples away so we could make a final pick. As the vinyl planking sample was quite small, Clive insisted on getting a couple of full sized planks from the supplier which we took to the house to be sure of our choice. That was when the vinyl planking supplier let us all down, it turned out that the one we picked (unlike all the rest of the range) came with four different colour planks, from light to quite dark and the 2 samples the supplier sent were the 2 middle toned ones. When we saw the vinyl that was so nicely laid in the bathrooms, we didn’t even think it was what we had selected. We didn’t want our kitchen & laundry looking like that, so we called Clive and arranged a site visit. We met and discussed the problem, we said we can live with the bathrooms but want the kitchen & laundry laid without the darker planks to which Clive said no problem. While we were OK to keep the bathrooms as they were, Clive could see we were disappointed and said, no, we need to fix this and came up with a plan to rectify the problem which worked very well. Clive, Rose, their employees and contractors were great to work with, and all went the extra mile to make sure their customers expectations were met. After our experience with Floorcraft we have no hesitation to recommend them for your project. Steven & Heather.
